Meet Happy! He's not a Foster Army pup but a stray foster mom Bailey and foster dad Kris found on a walk last night. We're fostering him through @sbcitypets San Bernardino's Animal Shelter. He's chipped, but they're not optimistic they'll find his family. Our guess is that he's an 8-10 year old poodle-terrier mix, and he has matted fur and is severely malnourished. More on his story to come...

Daisilu was adopted on Sunday! Foster Army rescued this little frenchie in October after she had delivered multiple litters and was in rough shape. She had fur loss and major hematoma in both ears. Daisilu spent lots of time cuddling with two different foster families and finally had a forever family interested in adopting her. However, we noticed a lump near her nipple, so we took her to the vet to make sure it was not life-threatening. The tumor was removed the same day, and the biopsy results (three weeks later) revealed the it was benign! Two days later, she did a home visit, and now she gets to spend the rest of her life with big sister and two loving parents! Congratulations to the snuggliest girl on earth for finding her forever snugglers!

Watson was adopted today! Back in September, we saw him at Riverside Animal Shelter and knew we needed to rescue him. Our vets determined he had a fractured leg and needed to be on crate rest for a month and then had to get neutered and continue healing for another two months. We hated seeing him sad in the crate, so his foster dad would snuggle with him while working from home. Once his foster dad had to leave for 5-day work trips, Watson had a little bit of separation anxiety, which left Watson upset and nervous and caused foster mom some stress. We knew the sooner he got into a stable permanent home, the happier he would be. Fortunately, the perfect mom applied to adopt him, and now he even has grandparents and a doggie sister and brother!Congratulations to Watson on his forever family and to foster dad on his first adoption!
