I am a social scientist proficient in network, quantitative, and qualitative methods, and my research interests lie at the intersection of management, crisis, and organizational communication in employment and disaster contexts.
I teach two primary courses:
Applied (Managerial) Communication
(MGMT 3500) at the undergraduate level
Advanced Managerial Communications
(ADMN 6020) at the master's level.

I provided training for new instructors and helped oversee roughly 60 sections per semester of COM 114: Fundamentals of Speech Communication. I also served as peer mentor for new instructors and as a consultant in the COM Help Center.

I serve on two interdisciplinary, multi-university research projects funded by the National Science Foundation to study hurricane evacuation, resilience, and recovery particularly at the intersection of physical and social networks.
